Question by Rama Krishna K: Cheque returned for cause “insufficient funds” but account holds quantity morethan sufficient. How to proceed?
I gave two cheques and each the cheques got returned for reason “Insufficient Funds”. But my account has adequate Funds to pass the cheques. Now, Guide me how i can proceed legally against the Bank. Can any a single guide me in this regard.

It is the banks error – talk to them and complain – they will waive the charges.

Just contact the bank. Mistakes happen. You can ask them to write a letter of explanation to the people who you wrote the checks to, and of course, to refund any NSF fees they deducted from your account.
