In your opinion what is the very best “just in case” gun?
Question by Evan: In your opinion what is the greatest “just in case” gun?
essentially if you exactly where left with one gun to make due with whatever may come what would it be?
seeking for a “just in case” gun if you did not guess. I have numerous firearms already, but I am interested to see opinions.

really depends on what you define as just in case.
overall, a relaible pump action 12ga shotgun is my first pick.
if its a handgun, then its a revolver in .357 magnum.

so… you mean survival?
a .223 Remington rifle would do me fine, maybe a H&R Handi-Rifle, it’s light, the ammo’s light, I can take any game I need, at least for my area, if I was more north-northwest, I’d say a 12 or 20 gauge single barrel shotgun would do, because of the threat of brown bear and wolves, light, lots of power and it’ll force me to choose my shots.

I don’t know why, but I just simply love revolvers so…
If I had only one gun- I’d have to go with a revolver with a 5.5″-6.5″ barrel, with maybe 6-8 rounds, and Preferably a .44 Magnum – .457 Magnum cartridge.
If it were a S and W, all the better.
And some nice engraved designs never hurt

In case of what? Terminators from the future trying to kill you? Might want to go with an Anzio Ironworks 20mm rifle with AP shells that were meant for a Vulcan cannon.
