Where could i uncover a Shotgun Difficult Case?
Question by Pumas858: Where could i locate a Shotgun Difficult Case?
I need assist locating a “Difficult Case” for my shotgun.
Very first of all my shotgun is a Mossberg 500a w/ 20in Barrel and ATI collapsible stock w/ a pistol grip.
I want a challenging case (gray or black outside) with egg foam padding on the inside. I dont want one where i would have to breakdown my shotgun in order for it to fit. If this is not achievable then i would like a soft case with padding on the inside.
web internet sites would be beneficial or if you know a shop here in San Diego Ca then that would be excellent.

hm, you’re 90 mi south of me. surely you do have Big 5 stores down there? the several Big 5 Sporting Goods stores near me sells all sorts of soft and hard cases for rifles, shotguns, pistols, etc. The selection varies from each store, what one doesn’t doesn’t have you can’t assume all stores won’t have.

also, my quick search using Google maps turned up about 1000 “gun store” or “sporting goods” businesses in San Diego, Calif.

here’s a DoskoSport Gun Guard case, that is about 48 inches long. Inexpensive too:

Midway carries a pretty good selection of cases if you don’t like these. Both these cases are rifle cases and 48 inches long. That should more than accommodate your shotgun. The break down shotgun cases are about 38 inches long. If the shotgun would fit into that, you could get the shorter case.

Walmart for under $ 25.
Any small gun case will do what you want, it is only if you want a water proof or high impact case that you have to go to specialty cases.

i got a black ABS plastic hard case for my stoeger condor over/under with 28″ barrels and full stock (perfect fit) for only $ 35 at Gander Mountain. for the money very nice case, does exactly what i need it to do. also has some plastic thing in it that’s supposed to prevent rust. the gun fits in it when fully assembled OR taken down. padded interior, 4 holes for locks (combo, pad, etc.)
